New Director, Patents Appointment – Stuart Forrest
We are delighted to welcome Stuart Forrest to Cameron IP, as the head of the chemistry and life sciences team. Stuart joins in a senior role as Director, Patents, and will further expand the firm’s offering in the chemical, pharmaceutical and life sciences areas.
Stuart is experienced in managing global IP portfolios for some of the largest corporations in the US and Europe and will bring further strength and depth to the team, in terms of both his technical and his management experience.
His technical specialisms include pharmaceuticals, transdermal patches, medical devices, industrial chemistry, chemical engineering, vaccines, coatings and films and formulation chemistry.
He is also an expert in obtaining Supplementary Protection Certificates (SPCs) in Europe.
Stuart further brings a wealth of experience in defending and opposing patents before the European Patent Office’s Opposition and Appeal Divisions.
