Past experience as an in-house attorney within the oil and gas sector has given Suzanne a different perspective of the patent attorney profession. Being embedded within engineering teams and tasked with capturing intellectual property rights at their source and actively managing a portfolio of rights was both challenging and rewarding.
“Working as an in-house attorney has given me valuable insights into the needs and challenges faced by businesses aiming to capitalise on intellectual assets.”
Suzanne offers clear and straightforward advice whilst taking into account the wider objectives of a client’s business.

Applauding a client collecting an industry award which recognised the significant contribution of their invention. She’d witnessed the development of the technology from the first rough sketches on scrap paper, through to its detailed design, prototype, field trial stages, all the way to the final award winning innovative system. Throughout this process Suzanne’s role was to ensure high quality protection for the invention as it developed as well as keeping a close eye on competitors’ activities!
